The Scent
Osmanthus, reminiscence of a Chinese garden, was created by Jean-Claude Ellena to keep alive the memory of an emotion that struck him during a visit to the Forbidden City in Beijing. He reveals all the olfactory beauty of this tree, originating from China, with its delicate and fragile white little flowers, which one may also encounter in a garden on the French Riviera. Due to its scarcity, the Osmanthus fragrance is seldom used or, generally in small proportions. The tree is sensitive to cold weather and its sparse seed only germinates after two years of gestation, the finest Osmanthus flowers blooming in October. This exquisite scent freshly unfolds to reveal a symphony of green sweet notes reminiscent of apple and apricot.

Osmanthus used : Osmanthus fragrans, originating from China. 20 kilos of Osmanthus flowers are needed to produce 250 ml of fragrance.Contains: Osmanthus, vert-de-feuille (green leaf), bergamot, orange, mandarin, rose, rose berries, castoréum, foin, musk.
