Our hides are tanned and prepared in one of the last independent French workshops, located in the Southwest of France. Hand-mounted using custom-made wooden tools, these hides are of the finest quality, with scales of uniform size and no marks on the corners or surfaces.
Designed to protect our first 90ml bottles, it comes with the perfume of your choice from our collection, to be specified in the comments.
Crocodile is by far the most noble and luxurious skin used for accessories, leather goods and shoes.
We exclusively use the highest quality skins from Louisiana, all Missisipiensis alligator, without any of the most common defects.
Only the belly is used for our cases, allowing us to obtain scales of regular size, very soft to the touch and resistant;
All our hides are CITES certified.
The production stages take place in the south of France and in our studios in Paris. The process involves no fewer than 40 steps and lasts 4 months to go from raw hide to finished product.
Firstly, mineral tanning is carried out in large drums which allows the evolution of the skin to be "blocked" and makes it durable and more flexible.
The finishing process typically involves using a soft agate to enhance the leather's luster and the subtle nuances of its color. The leather is then immersed in a dye bath, resulting in a uniquely soft and natural feel.
The hide is then prepared, cut, and assembled by expert artisans in Parisian workshops. This step requires a level of expertise that few artisans possess—true know-how. The sheaths are cut manually, piece by piece, to maintain the most perfect geometry of the scales. The hide is then polished by hand and assembled according to the desired finish.
Assembling a single case requires several hours of work.
Note:
We do not use pork in our tanneries.
